Director of Strategic Development - Pharmaceutical

 
 

Summary Description:

This position is responsible for generating sales from new business opportunities within assigned territory or accounts. The Director of Strategic Development succeeds by engaging and developing relationships with potential customers of mms. This individual must be motivated to succeed in a competitive landscape and effectively communicate mms solutions.

Our ideal candidate will:

Meet or exceed yearly established sales goals of assigned sales territory 

  • Uncover opportunities and grow revenue within assigned sales territory.

  • Prospect and nurture self-generated and company-provided leads

  • Listen to customer needs and challenges and consult on appropriate mms solution

  • Understand customer goals and objectives

  • Maintain consistent and high outbound call volume

  • Develop key client and prospect relationships at multiple levels

  • Pursue and secure meetings/presentations

  • Prepare and present expert proposals

  • Gather market intelligence, staying up to date on industry knowledge and trends

  • Attend trade shows, industry meetings, and seminars 

  • Record all sales activity in conformance with company procedures within mms’ CRM systems

  • Travel up to 25%

EXPERIENCE: 
Two or more years of selling experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
