Three concepts were involved in the creation of the new MMS identity:

The first concept was the message. It was essential to create an icon relevant to the nature of the business. In its more than 80 years of existence, MMS has continuously reinvented itself to meet the ever changing needs of message delivery, from direct mail, to email, and in the future...whatever comes.

The second concept involved color. We chose colors representing the character, personality and nature of the business. Orange not only brings with it a recognizable comfort from the past identity but connotations that include vitality, optimism, friendly and communicative. Purple, the secondary color brings with it connotations that include expressiveness and creativity.

Finally we have the third concept. Lower case letters for the name. Lowercase lettering is more personable and approachable.
